How does the “Pay in 3 interest-free installments” option work?
The “Pay in 3 interest-free installments” option allows you to split your purchase into three equal payments. Each installment will be automatically charged to the debit or credit card provided at checkout. The first payment is charged when your order is confirmed by Ottica Anzani, with the second and third installments charged 30 and 60 days later, respectively. You can always track your payment schedule through the Klarna app.
Who is eligible for “Pay in 3 interest-free installments”?
You must be at least 18 years old to use this option. While widely advertised, availability depends on your financial circumstances. Using the “Pay in 3 interest-free installments” option does not affect your credit score.
How can eligibility be improved?
Klarna evaluates several factors, including order value, purchase history, and item availability. To increase your chances of approval, ensure your full name and accurate billing address are provided, and use your billing address for shipping. Each order is reviewed individually. Previous use of this option does not guarantee future eligibility.
What information is required to make a purchase?
You must provide your phone number, email address, current billing address, and debit or credit card details. Your phone number is used for contact if needed, and all communications are sent via email. Providing accurate information ensures correct payment processing and order updates.
Will a credit check be performed?
Klarna may perform soft credit checks, which do not impact your credit score and are only visible to you and Klarna. Neither Klarna nor Ottica Anzani perform hard credit checks that affect your credit rating.
Why isn’t the option available to everyone?
The availability of “Pay in 3 interest-free installments” is automatically determined by algorithms based on factors like address, card details, order total, store, previous order history, and item availability.
Payment process
Installments are automatically charged to your selected card. The first payment occurs upon order confirmation, followed by the second and third installments at 30 and 60 days, respectively. Payment schedules can always be monitored in the Klarna app.
What happens if you cancel or return an order?
Once Ottica Anzani accepts the cancellation or return, Klarna cancels any future payments and refunds any amounts already charged. Returns are immediately visible in the Klarna app.
What happens if a payment fails?
Klarna will attempt to charge your card on the due date. If unsuccessful, a second attempt occurs two days later. If this fails, Klarna issues an invoice for the full amount, payable 15 days after. Payment reminders are sent two days before the second attempt. Failure to pay on time does not affect your credit score.
Can payments be made early?
Yes. Payments can be made early via the Klarna app or by logging in at Klarna.com/uk.
Refunds
Refunds are processed to the original payment card. Once Ottica Anzani confirms a cancellation or return, refunds are issued within 5–7 business days.
